  2. 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  3. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  4. 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  5. 1/4 cup tsp chopped capsicums
  6. 1/4 cup boiled green peas
  7. 1/2 tsp aamchur
  8. 2 tsp ginger green chilli paste
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
  11. 1/4 tsp hing
  12. 1/2 tsp jeera
  13. 4 tsp black pepper powder
  14. 2 tsp sugar
  15. 1 tsp lemon juice
  16. as required Some chopped coriander
  17. to Taste salt
  18. as required Butter
  19. 2 tsp oil for seasoning
  20. as required Green chilli coriander chutney
  21. as required Sev to sprinkle

Steps to make Mumbai Masala Grilled Sandwich

  1. Take a bowl. Add boiled potatoes, mash it, add boiled green peas.
  2. Take a pan,heat on medium flame of gas. Add oil, jeera, hing, ginger chilli paste, mix well.
  3. Add mashed potatoes and green peas. Add salt, pav bhaji masala, aamchur powder, sugar, turmeric powder, chopped coriander and lemon juice. Mix well. Turn off gas.
  4. Transfer mixture in a bowl. Wait till it cool completely.
    In another bowl add chopped onions and capsicum, add salt and black pepper powder.. Mix well..
  5. Take 3 slices of bread. Apply butter and green chilli coriander chutney evenly. On 1 slice spread potato - green peas mixture and chopped tomatoes.. Put 1 bread on it, press a little bit.. Now spread evenly chopped onions and capsicum on bread slice.. Lastly put 3rd bread on it, press it.. You can add grated cheese also.(Optional).
  6. Now grilled it both sides.. Mumbai Masala Grilled Sandwich is ready to serve.. Sprinkle sev on it. Enjoy with chutney, ketchup, tea or coffee..
