- 5 gm Yeast
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- half tsp Salt
- Warm water for kneading
- For Filling
- 250 gm Chicken
- 250 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 Onion
- 1 Capsicum
- half cup Cabbage shredded
- 2 Green onion
- 2 Green chillies
- 4 cloves Garlic
- Mushrooms (optional)
- 50 gm Cheese
- half tsp Salt
- half tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp White pepper
- half tsp Chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Hot sauce
Instructions to make Chicken and Veggies Bread Pie
- In pot boil chicken with salt pepper, soya sauce and hot sauce until tender. Keep the chicken stock aside.
- Shred the boil chicken with help of fork and keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl add yeast with sugar and add half cup warm milk cover the bowl and wait for few minutes until dry yeast activate.
- Now add flour in the yeast mixture knead a smooth dough with more warm water.
- The dough should be sticky.
In other bowl grease with oil. Put the kneaded dough and cover with plastic wrap and put in dark dry place for an hour or until it become double in size. - In sauce pan take two tbsp oil add chopped garlic and thinly sliced onion. When onion turns translucent add thinly sliced capsicum, cabbage, mushrooms and boil chicken pieces.
- Cook for five minutes. Now add flour and add milk and chicken stock.
- Now add cheese and chopped green onions. Close flame and mix so that cheese melts.
- Seasoned with salt pepper chilli flakes. Cook with continuous stirring until it start thickens
- Bring this mixture to room temperature.
- Take the prepared and proofed dough and cut into four equal parts. Roll one part on a counter. Use dry flour if needed.
- Roll to 1 inch thick dough. With help of cutter cut a circles.
- Grease the cup cake tray and put the round bread dough in it covering all edges. Add the prepared filling.
- Make a pattern with dough pieces and cover it from top. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Pre heat oven at 200 degree and put the baking tray inside and bake at 220 degree for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Transfer the baking tray to a cooling tray and cover it immediately after baking. Use upper grill for golden color on top.
