- 1/4 cup yoghurt
- 2 tbsp ginger paste
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 lemon
- 2 tsp salt or to taste
- 3 tbsp mustard oil or any oil
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

- First thing first put the fish in a bowl squeeze juice of a lime in it with 1 tsp salt and mix it well and keep it aside for 1 hour. After an hour thoroughly wash the fish and drain out all the water and pat dry it. Keep it aside and now let's prepare the marinade for that in a bowl add yoghurt along with ginger and garlic paste and all the spices mentioned in the ingredients section. Then mix it very well and add 2 tbsp mustard oil or any oil and make a smooth paste.



- Fish and mustard oil makes a great combination but if you want to add any other oil feel free to. Now coat the spice mix on the fish on both the sides very gently as fishes are very delicate. When all done keep them in the same marinade bowl and marinate it for and hour. After that preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 180℃ then place the marinated fish pieces in it and grill it at 180℃ for 20 minutes on one side then flip it over brysh it with the remaining 1tbsp oil and grill it again.



- This time grill it for 10 minutes and it will be done. You can grill it in oven and microwave too with the same recipe and can even deep fry and shallow fry it. My air fryer takes 30 minutes for the fish to be completely done check on your appliance for the time and temperature as every appliance work differently. Serve it with chutney, sauce or mayonnaise or simply have it as it is ir tastes awesome in every way.
